One of the words more used in recent times is spirituality.

We live in a time of amazing discoveries and have never been so connected to each other, but at the same time, there has never been so lonely and unhappy people, seeking a direction and a balance to their lives.

We live in a materialistic society that teaches us to “have”, putting aside the “being”. Everyone wants happiness, to have love, have joy and end up searching for these values in the outside world. Spirituality is an inner conquest. Unlike what most think, is not religion, mysticism or finding God. It’s an encounter with yourself. The path of spiritual truth is a process of inner liberation. There are several ways to achieve your inner peace, balance and discover of our spirituality.

The traditional religious institutions’ crisis paved the way for a new spirituality less concerned to follow a religion model, but to combine different traditions, taking into account the freedom of the individual in search of his spiritual path.

This trend presents a risk of superficiality (just because you are not dedicated to any whole), but has a positive aspect: it makes us the subject of each one of your own choices. Every religion brings a genuine element of truth that is sometimes distorted by personal interpretation.

You must understand that isn’t enough just go to church, pray, sing, preach, give money to the poor, take courses and / or therapy to find spirituality. You must have an understanding of spiritual truth and put it into action in our daily lives. The words, the teachings and the different therapies are intended to place the individual in touch with himself, his essence, and to established a connection with your soul. Each one of us understand and make our own way.

The walk opens the door of intuition and extends the feelings. The outer journey is only the symbol of an inner journey, so no matter what’s your religion, your God or your beliefs. Different religions are not mutually exclusive, but complementary.

When we seek with pure intent, we receive appropriate responses and find within ourselves our own spirituality. Follow your intuition and the spiritual compass that is in you to find then your God, not away from you, but part of you.
